Understand the requirements of ASME Section III, Division 5 for advanced nuclear reactors and high-temperature applications, including metallic, graphite and composite materials.
Identify the key definitions, duties and responsibilities, as well as the administrative and technical requirements of Division 5.
Apply Division 5 requirements to the design, procurement, fabrication, examination and testing of components for advanced reactors.
Understand requirements related to nuclear, material and computer quality assurance, procurement and suppliers, examination and testing, stamping and certification.
Explore the use of metallic, graphite and composite materials for high-temperature applications and the developments of the advanced reactor and SMR industry.
