IN THIS COURSE YOU WILL LEARN…

  • Understand the principles of ASME NQA-1 and the US regulatory framework of 10 CFR 50 and 10 CFR 21, including their relationship with NQA-1.
  • Identify safety classifications and Activities Affecting Quality, as well as the 18 NQA-1 quality assurance criteria, applicable editions and amendments.
  • Manage supplier evaluation, qualification, audits and Approved Vendors Lists, together with the requirements for inspection and test personnel, auditors and lead auditors.
  • Apply requirements for indoctrination, training and personnel qualification, as well as design verification and engineering controls.
  • Understand requirements for computer programme verification and validation, Commercial Grade Item dedication, inspection status, testing and measuring & test equipment calibration.
  • Control handling, packaging and shipping, internal audits, audit reports, nonconformities and corrective actions, as well as documents, records and archives, through practical examples and workshops.
